As your photographer, my main objective is simple; capture your love, whatever that may look like. An intimate elopement in the smokies, an extravagant celebration in the city, an intentional backyard gathering, the day is about you and your partner. It's not about the current trends, it's not about determining what is happening at every 5 minute interval of the day. Your day and your experience on your wedding day should be about your love. The love for your partner, the lover for those who are there to support you, the lover for all the time and energy put into planning your day.

As a documentary wedding + elopement photographer, I have strong opinions on capturing your day. I am a human first and photographer second so preserving the moment to get the most perfect picture possible is one thing I obsess over. My presence on your day is one meant to calm and capture, not to stage faux experiences and feelings. 

Having your photos taken can be weird and uncomfortable and vulnerable. To get to that space of comfort and vulnerability with my couples, I really get to know who they are as humans. This helps me make all of my couples more comfortable for when the camera comes around to capture your day.
